News from the Sidewalk

CHALK4PEACE is the global chalk art project about peace. We celebrate our eleventh year as a worldwide event encouraging peace. CHALK4PEACE, Inc.  is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization.

We've had more than 1000 events in 50 countries and have covered more than 12 miles of pavement with messages and visions of peace in sidewalk chalk...

We believe in  "Drawing the World Together..."

CHALK4PEACE participated in the Peace Day Student Observance at the United Nations in New York City in 2016 to honor the International Day of Peace. Hundreds of thousands of young artists of all ages have joined us since 2005.

Our goal: ONE MILLION artists Chalking 4 Peace at the same time...

Because we need Peace...Now more than ever...

Your support for our UN/DC fundraiser is helping us Draw The World Together!

Thank you! Gracias! Grazie! Merci! Our UN/DC events fundraising campaign has generated a couple of plane tickets, housing in NY, meals in DC, a mighty new website, cash and some chalk for our C4P: Drawing The World Together Tour. Your support is mighty!

We're about half way there in our costs to make this happen. We still need the following:

-One more plane ticket. Miles welcome!

-Accomodations cash or miles for Washington DC housing for five nights.

-RT train tickets from NY to DC and back for our flight home.

-Subway, bus and cab fees for NY & DC.

-Filmmaking/editing costs (three days of filming, two to edit).

-Chalk and template materials (cash works best for these).

-Promo posters and 500 copies of "One Hundred Ways 2 Peace"

Please do whatever you can. Every donation makes a HUGE difference.

CHALK4PEACE will be happy to secure a place, for any contribution of $250 or more, to attend the #PeaceDay Youth Summit event at the United Nations, on September 16, 2016.
