News from the Sidewalk

CHALK4PEACE is the global chalk art project about peace. We celebrate our eleventh year as a worldwide event encouraging peace. CHALK4PEACE, Inc.  is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization.

We've had more than 1000 events in 50 countries and have covered more than 12 miles of pavement with messages and visions of peace in sidewalk chalk...

We believe in  "Drawing the World Together..."

CHALK4PEACE participated in the Peace Day Student Observance at the United Nations in New York City in 2016 to honor the International Day of Peace. Hundreds of thousands of young artists of all ages have joined us since 2005.

Our goal: ONE MILLION artists Chalking 4 Peace at the same time...

CHALK4PEACE has been invited to help draw the world together at the United Nations this fall as part of the Peace Day Student Observance honoring the International Day of Peace. We will be bringing Team CHALK4PEACE into New York to create a giant symbol of peace for the young artists attending the conference September 16th to embellish with their messages of Peace, Hope and Justice for a better world. The United Nations is kind enough to provide the venue; CHALK4PEACE will create the template for expression and speak about 100 ways to say Peace...We're asking you to help Team CHALK4PEACE get to New York to "Bring the Peace" and to record the event for our documentary film: CHALK4PEACE: Drawing The World Together, which we started in Ferguson, Missouri last year. Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and be made through our secure Pay Pal account below:

For CHALK4PEACE, this is chance of a lifetime to share our practice of peace with the nations of the world. We're in 40 countries so far. Our trip to the UN will help to spread the word- to double, maybe triple that number as a result of our efforts this fall at the United Nations. The sky is the limit... please help us get there...
